Final days

So we're heading into our final days in New York City, which seems so strange! For so long our big move seemed really far away, like it would never really happen, and yet now it's just around the corner. Moving from a place always leads me to a kind of (sometimes melancholy) introspection, or at least reflection on the last few years. These three years in New York City have been full of joys, trials, challenges, and excitement. Our fourth child was born here, our children attended school for the first time here, and we made many friends that I hope we'll keep in touch with (hint, hint! Don't be a stranger!) We've also had some exciting and encouraging things happen in church, from the toddler's group to the Wall Street ministry. Yet I think both Cliff and I would agree that there are some things about city life we won't miss:

Traffic and rudeness, namely! Some New Yorkers are incredibly, wonderfully friendly, and some... are not. We've heard how friendly the people of Cumbria are, so we're looking forward to finding out for ourselves!
